Coaching Selections for 2022/23 Season
Submitted By Andrea Dunkley on Thu 03 24, 22
We are very excited to announce the following Tier 1 coaches for the upcoming season.

We are still currently looking for anyone interested in the U13 and U18 positions.

Tier 2 Coaches will be decided after the First Entry teams are determined.

Brian Pearce - U11
Brian has had over 40years experience coaching all levels of OWHA and OMHA hockey, from houseleague to AAA with the Quinte Red Devils as well as at the U18 level for the West Northumberland Wild.  Brian is now looking forward to coaching his granddaughter as she is making the transition to girls hockey.

David Evans - U15
David has been involved with our organization for the last 6 years, and has had either the role of Head Coach or Assistant coach every season (And in most years has been involved with two teams)  David has been very successful throughout his coaching, with many teams competing at provincials, league championship as well as tournament successes.

Some words from David:

Cold Creek Comets is excited to announce they are going to move up to the Tier 1  "A" category in the upcoming 2022/23 season.  This current years strong talent pool of players makes next year's jump to the A division a contender for top position. The U15 A's season will include a development schedule, 4 tournaments (CANAM Lake Placid), strong work ethic approach, a committed coaching staff, all with the smiles we enjoy seeing from our players.  We welcome all to tryout that are interested in playing a fast-paced, development-based, competitive hockey season.

Kevin Clitherow and David Evans - U18 (Interim/Tryout Coaches)
They have offered to assist with our U18 team for the upcoming season.  While we are still working to recruit for further coaching staff, our tryouts will be facilitated by both David and Kevin to ensure our team is in place and set up for a successful season, and they will continue to assist with the team.
