Waterloo Raven Challenge -Silver Medal Winners
The Clarke Consulting Novice Cold Creek Comets had a great showing in the Waterloo Raven Challenge Cup this past weekend winning a silver medal. In a third game against North Halton a game that was a must win,  the girls played a gritty game where they overcame a 3-0 deficit in the 2nd and they showed a lot of heart and determination to comeback and beat Halton 7-4. And on Sunday they had a hard fought championship game against South Huron , who had beat them 4-2 on the friday night. The girls came out flying Sunday afternoon and played well in a nail biter to the end and were edged out 5-4 with 40 seconds to go. It was a great weekend of hockey for all and brought the players together as a team , well done to the Novice Girls.
